— A Russian photographer and artist creating unique works that explore the delicate boundary between vulnerability and strength through nude imagery in fine art photography.
Education: Graduated from the St. Petersburg Institute of Culture with a degree in
"Folk Artistic Culture" (head of a film and photo studio).
My photographic practice is centered on exploring the nude female body in art, with a particular focus on the phenomenon of the female nude self-portrait, where the author and the subject of the image become one, adding new layers of meaning to the works.
Through photography, I explore themes of loneliness, vulnerability, and openness.
My interest in self-portraits stems from a desire to understand myself and my emotions more deeply. I use myself as a starting point to explore humanity as a whole.
Self-portraits allow me to be both the object and the subject of art, creating a unique intimacy and honesty in my works.
When alone with myself, I strive to create visual images that not only convey inner states but also provoke reflection on the nature of human existence.
For me, self-discovery is not only a process of exploring myself but also a step toward understanding the world around me.
One of my goals is self-acceptance and embracing my vulnerability. Strength lies not in trying to hide one’s weaknesses but in the ability to open up to them and accept them.
By embracing our vulnerability, we gain the strength to be authentic and sincere—both with ourselves and with the world around us.
